A Morning Walk

It is one of the best habits one  can develop. To get the best out of your morning walk, never have a specific purpose, instead simply immerse yourself in the beauty of the walk itself.  Also never take your worries with you during the walk. Leave them at home, else they would get deeply rooted in your mind , sooner than you think.

Train yourself to pay complete attention to the sights, sounds and smells. Observe the trees , the clouds, try to smell the flowers. Avoid carrying your cellphone for that hour of the day.  Smile, laugh and begin the day on a strong positive note.

Realize that every dawn brings with it the corresponding opportunity to begin a completely new life. If you so choose, tomorrow can be the day that you start getting up earlier, reading more, exercising, eating well and worrying less.

No one is stopping you from opening your journal and , on a blank page, rewriting the story of your life. This very minute, you can decide the way you would like it to unfold, change the central characters and envison a new ending. The only question is will you choose to do so ?

Remember it is never too late to become the person you always wanted to be. It all starts with a morning walk.
