Put It In Perspective

I wish the whole world could see what I see. Sometimes you have to go up really high to understand how small we really are. – Felix Baumgartner a skydiver.

Nothing should be a big deal. It’s like once you get something like cancer, small stuff doesn’t seem so important.

Changing your perspective need not be a big move. Just a small change in the story you tell yourself, or the world, can make a big difference in how you see a stressful situation.

At times, one does not get the complete picture from one angle. Changing the perspective and moving just slightly to one side allows to see the situation in a different way. Life is like that too. We see it from only one angle, one perspective. Change that angle, sometimes even just slightly and things can appear totally different.

Next time someone pisses you off, mentally take a half step sideways and see him or her from a different angle. See their good side. See that they have wants and needs just like you. See that they are not out to get you, they are just people with a different opinion than yours. See them as an ally instead of an enemy.

The more one can learn and choose to see the bright side, the more one’s life will feel lighter and more enjoyable.

And let me tell you, if you choose to see a world full of love, your body will respond by growing in health.

Change your perspective.
