The new behaviours I have adopted in the last 6 years are walking and meditation.
A morning walk is a part of my daily routine and I wonder how did I exist before this without walking. I’m kind of surprised that it took me so long to realize how great it makes me feel. At times there is no purpose for the walking, it’s just fun. When you get into a banter or a discussion, time ceases to exist. I feel that walking is something I can do it forever.
Meditation – that’s a tougher nut to crack, but if you can train your brain to do it, it’s a great skill to have. It just needs practice. There are wonderful apps which can get you going.
Every smart and stable person I know both walk and meditates. Try do it everyday and see the results for yourself.
